Grievance and Anti-Retaliation Approach
At Akcakaya Textile, we recognize the right of all employees, job applicants, interns, suppliers, and other stakeholders to freely raise concerns, suggestions, or grievances through safe, confidential, and accessible channels.
We are committed to handling grievances in a timely, impartial, fair, and confidential manner and do not tolerate any adverse treatment against individuals who raise concerns or submit reports in good faith.
Our Grievance Mechanism
Grievances and reports may relate to any workplace issue, including but not limited to:
- Discrimination, unequal treatment, and inequality of opportunity
- Harassment, bullying, violence, and inappropriate behavior
- Human rights violations
- Occupational health and safety concerns
- Matters related to wages, working hours, and working conditions
- Ethical violations, conflicts of interest, corruption, or suspected bribery
- Practices that violate company policies and procedures
- Environmental and social compliance issues
- Any other good-faith concerns or reports
Concerns and grievances may be submitted through the Human Resources Department, the Social Compliance Department, employee representatives, or other secure communication channels established by the company.
Our Evaluation Principles
All reports and grievances are assessed according to the following principles:
- Confidentiality and protection of personal data
- Impartial and independent investigation
- Fair and objective assessment
- Timely response and solution-oriented approach
- Listening to relevant parties and evidence-based evaluation
- Implementation of necessary corrective and preventive actions
The outcomes of grievance investigations are communicated to the relevant parties where appropriate, and necessary improvement actions are implemented to prevent similar issues from recurring.
Zero Tolerance for Retaliation
Akcakaya Textile does not tolerate retaliation against any employee who, in good faith, raises a concern, reports an ethical violation, participates in an investigation, or provides information.
Examples of retaliatory behavior may include:
- Threatening or terminating employment
- Actions resulting in loss of wages or benefits
- Punitive transfers or changes in job responsibilities
- Denial of promotion or training opportunities
- Psychological pressure, exclusion, or workplace bullying
- Deliberately unfair performance evaluations
- Any form of discriminatory or punitive treatment
Such actions are considered serious violations of company policy and may result in disciplinary action.

Feedback and grievances are regularly analyzed, reviewed by management, and used to continuously improve our policies, procedures, and working conditions.
